Nick Caccavo

Nick received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont in 2006 with a major in History and Political Science and a minor in Archaeology. He is one of the founders of the Yonso Project. As Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Nick manages the YP’s finances and coordinates operations between our teams in Ghana and the US; he also oversees our microlending program. Nick works as a Business Metrics Analyst for Wells Fargo.


Sonja Good Stefani

Sonja graduated from Tufts University in 2007 with a degree in Peace and Justice and Child Development. One of the Yonso Project's co-founders, Sonja now manages our scholarship program and oversees fundraising and donor relations. She currently works in San Francisco for the Habeas Corpus Resource Center, a part of the judicial branch of the State of California that represents the indigent population on death row.


Tony Caccavo

Tony received his bachelor’s degree in History and Classics in 2008 and his master's in teaching in 2009, both from Tufts University . Tony manages the Teach for Rural Ghana program, which provides scholarships for Ghanaian college students in return for a three-year commitment to teach in our communities. He currently lives in Vermont.


Sam Dupre

Sam graduated from the University of Vermont in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. He manages the Yonso Project’s ecotourism program and other efforts to promote ecological sustainability in rural Ghana. Sam is currently attending grad school at Frostburg State University, where he studies small mammal community ecology and conservation.


TJ Coffrin

TJ graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2007 with a degree in History, Society and Culture. He is a member of the Yonso Project’s US Board. He currently resides in New Hampshire and is a manager at the Walgreens corporation.


Benji Hardy

Benji graduated from Hendrix College 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in International Relations. He manages the Yonso Project’s website. Benji has worked in the nonprofit and political worlds and will soon be starting a career as a mathematics teacher in the New Orleans public school system.


Edward Faustin

Edward Faustin Edward is currently a dual degree graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania studying to receive a Masters in City and Regional Planning and a Masters in Urban Spatial Analytics. His area of focus is public-private development. He is serving as a graduate assistant for the Yonso Project's ecotourism program and ecological sustainability projects. Edward received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2003.
